Anthony Lavers is counsel in the Construction Group in the London office. He undertakes legal research on both contentious and non-contentious work and has worked on matters relating to projects in Algeria, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Kuwait, Lesotho, Northern Ireland, Oman, Peru, Rumania, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Uzbekistan.
He is also engaged in training, writing and know-how activities within the Group and more widely within the White & Case Firm. Anthony co-authored FIDIC Contracts: Law and Practice published by Informa Law from Routledge in 2009. Prior to joining White & Case in 2001, Anthony was Professor of Law at Oxford Brookes University, where he still holds a Visiting Chair, and was a Consultant to the Construction Group of a major City firm for five years.
