Luigi di Paola is a Group Head of Claim Management Department & EAR/Shipment Insurance Claim at Maire Tecnimont, a top-ranking international engineering contractor mainly dealing in the oil and gas, civil engineering and energy sector.  He is experienced in the fields of dispute settlement, construction, energy, and international arbitration.

He graduated in Law from the University of Bari in 1997. Luigi also earned a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) at the Queen Mary University of London in 2001. Since then he has worked for different companies in the field of construction law and real estate such as Bonelli Erede Pappalardo and Eni in Italy and EC Harris and  Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the United Kingdom.
